On May 21, 2025, more than 130 professionals from IT and business gathered at MOTORWORLD Munich for the Adobe Customer Experience Day hosted by eggs unimedia. Under the motto “Staying on Course Despite Headwinds,” the event focused on innovation, adaptability, and team spirit – essential factors for lasting success in an ever-changing (digital) world.

MOTORWORLD

A Live Experience for the IT and Business Community

The Adobe Customer Experience Day has been the go-to live platform for IT and business professionals for years—offering strategic insights, exciting customer projects, and a hands-on look at the diverse capabilities of the Adobe Experience Cloud. New this year: a 5.5-meter-tall sky dancer.

Cast off!

At 10:30 a.m., Martin Brösamle welcomed around 130 guests to the Adobe Customer Experience Day, who had traveled from across the DACH region. This year's motto, “Staying on Course Despite Headwinds,” combined with powerful imagery, symbolized the challenges of business life—like unpredictable winds blowing from all directions. While manageable risks can be planned for, it’s the unknown unknowns that pose a particular challenge, requiring adaptability and flexibility in response. The event focused on how to face these volatile conditions through technology, processes, and the right team

Keynote: On Course Despite Headwinds

Dominik Neidhart, winner of the America’s Cup, opened the day with an incredibly inspiring keynote. The America’s Cup is not only the world’s oldest sporting trophy but also one of the most challenging competitions in sports. Teams participating in this prestigious sailing regatta face obstacles that closely resemble those in the business world: unclear rules, structural advantages for the titleholder, varying venues, shifting winds, unpredictable seas, ever-changing regulations, and new challengers at every turn make each campaign uniquely demanding. Added to all of this is the relentless pace of technological advancement.

How Work Management and GenAI Optimize Our Workflows

Irmi Hobmaier from eggs unimedia addressed the "Explosion of Content" in her presentation. Companies will need significantly more content in the coming years than ever before. Images in various formats and versions must be created for a wide range of devices and channels, and in multiple language versions. For a single campaign, this can quickly add up to thousands of assets that need to be coordinated, produced, and integrated.

In her presentation, Irmi outlined the end-to-end process of an effective content supply chain — from campaign planning with Workfront, through asset production and replication using GenAI, all the way to delivery.

The Power You Don‘t See – How QA Holds the Digital World Together

Divia Paramesh and Habib Awada, both from eggs unimedia, discuss the importance of QA in successful IT projects. One example: in digital car sales, which is expected to be 69% online by 2030, quality assurance (QA) is a critical success factor. QA means much more than just testing—it ensures systems are stable, secure, and user-friendly by detecting errors early and enabling continuous improvements. With its proprietary eggstabilityframework, eggs unimedia combines scalable test automation, modern tools, and full CI/CD integration to deliver fast and reliable releases. In this way, QA becomes a driver of business innovation and excellent customer experience in digital projects.

Resilience in Change: How Teams Stay Strong When Everything Is Changing.

The afternoon began with a presentation by Matthias Lautenbacher, Senior Agile Coach at eggs unimedia. He spoke about how to set up teams so they can achieve great things while still enjoying their work. At the start, he used the example of Ernest Shackleton’s most famous Antarctic mission, the Endurance Expedition (1914–1917). The goal of this expedition was to be the first team to cross the Antarctic continent. What made it remarkable was that despite the dramatic failure—the ship was trapped in pack ice and sank—Shackleton managed to bring all his men back alive after more than two years in the icy wilderness.

Translated to today’s business demands, this means: resilience and agility are crucial for successfully navigating change by empowering teams through comprehensibility, manageability, and meaningfulness, enabling them to find purpose in their work and accomplish great things.

Client Presentation by TeamViewer: Staying on Course Together – Team Spirit as Our Compass

As a globally leading technology company with 660,000 customers and over 2 billion installations worldwide, TeamViewer sought a future-proof web platform. Sina Wankmüller from TeamViewer and Alexander Lotz from eggs unimedia shared their joint success story and the successful migration from WordPress to the Adobe Tech Stack in their presentation.

As part of a comprehensive relaunch project, TeamViewer, with support from eggs unimedia, implemented Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) as a managed service, along with AEM Forms, Dynamic Media, Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch, Marketo, and Commerce. They modernized the central corporate website teamviewer.com, which—with over 225,000 daily visitors, 18 languages, 59 websites, and around 120,000 pages—is among the 5,000 most visited websites worldwide.

The two presenters impressively demonstrated how, among other things, the Elastic Search-powered knowledge base and the digital license assistant were developed. They also explained why close, trust-based collaboration within the agile team and the targeted use of modern Adobe technologies were key to the project’s success.

Platform vs. Point Solution – Why a Customer Data AEP Demo Matters: From Prospect to Patron

Klaus Völk from our joint venture partner webalyse and Christoph Behounek from eggs unimedia addressed various use cases in their presentation "From Prospect to Patron," showing how companies can improve customer relationships through a sophisticated data strategy. One example was consentless tracking with AEM, which enables the collection and analysis of user data without requiring explicit consent. Another use case focused on website personalization for potential customers, helping to better understand their needs and target them effectively. Finally, digital support for customer interactions at the point of sale was presented, designed to assist sales staff in gaining customer trust and upselling additional products or services.

Extensions of AEM DX Platforms Through AWS

Simon Bönisch from eggs unimedia explained in his presentation how Adobe Experience Manager-based DX platforms can be optimized for performance monitoring using Amazon Web Services. Logs from AEM and CDNs, as well as data from custom monitors such as LinkedIn, GitHub, and Lighthouse reports, are collected and analyzed through AWS services like CloudFront, API Gateway, and OpenSearch.

What’s the added value? This approach enables evaluation of the impact of new releases on the Lighthouse score (performance, SEO, accessibility), real-time analysis of suspicious website content, and traffic analysis. Additionally, he presented an AWS-based chatbot and an AEM-specific coding assistant powered by Amazon CodeWhisperer.

AEM installations can be extended effectively and easily with AWS — and we’re here to help.

Edge Delivery Services: The eggsunimedia.com Relaunch Project Example

Adobe Edge Delivery Services (EDS) is the area where most of Adobe’s content innovations originate, and we are excited to use this technology for our website going forward. With our redesign, we can now offer visitors a fresh, modern customer experience—including the ability to seamlessly switch between dark and light modes. For content creation, we rely on Dynamic Media and the Adobe Universal Editor, which shares many similarities with the familiar AEM authoring interface.

In their presentation, Christian Eberhardt and Nhan Tran highlighted the benefits of Adobe’s new content management approach—EDS—and explained the features, functions, and technological innovations of this cutting-edge solution. Achieving top Lighthouse scores for performance, SEO, and accessibility naturally is part of the package.
